LARGE ALICE Pack Military Rucksack with Frame - OD Green

I received this ruck a few days ago and I am honestly very impressed by how much I can carry. I pretty much have fit 3 weeks of sustainment inside of it. It feels like a sturdy pack for sure and has limited up and down movement when trotting. There are a few downsides: the strap positioning and kidney belt. First off in regards to the straps, the shoulder straps are put together in a way you have no way to tighten them unless you completely put the ruck down as you have to pull up on them instead of down. They also can come loose easily if you’re taking off the ruck and it’s resting on one shoulder for a second. Secondly, the kidney belt is very lacking. It’s not really a full kidney belt but more like a small lumbar support. Not the most uncomfortable thing but also not the most comfortable. Other than that, my only gripe is that the 3 large sustainment pouches do not have pass throughs. The pack itself seems like it’s pretty durable, but the tightening straps are definitely going to be the first thing that goes out on you. They don’t feel the strongest. They don’t feel like cordura but I could be wrong.
