YOUR RIGHT-TO-REPAIR IS THE STANDARD.

At Ataclete, we believe life-support gear shouldn’t be held hostage by traditional dive shop gatekeepers. Our right-to-repair scuba regulators are engineered for complete user serviceability, featuring open-access technical schematics, public torque specifications, and unrestricted factory service kits available directly to anyone. Whether you overhaul your own tactical dive gear in the field or ship it to an independent service center of your choice, we provide the tools and transparency you need to keep your mission moving.

Regulator FAQs

No, but user errors are excluded. Your lifetime structural warranty covers all manufacturing flaws and material defects under normal field use. However, it does not cover damage caused by technician or user mistakes during maintenance. If you scratch a high-pressure orifice, strip a thread, or mar a brass housing with incorrect tools, you are responsible for buying individual replacement parts on our site.

Right here on our site, completely unrestricted. We do not hide life-support components behind authorized dealer networks. Anyone can purchase our first-stage, primary second-stage, and octopus service kits directly from our online store 24/7/365. To safeguard our business, all buyers must complete a digital life-support liability waiver at checkout acknowledging they possess the technical competence to perform the repair.

Standard tools for the basics, specialty tools for tuning. Every Ataclete regulator is built on an open-architecture framework using standard sizing where possible. For precise overhauls, we sell a comprehensive Tactical Regulator Field Service Kit that features our proprietary multi-pins, intermediate pressure gauges, and dynamic orifice adjusters. We host high-resolution, open-access technical schematics and torque specifications on our Service Portal to ensure you have the exact blueprints for the job.

Absolutely. If you prefer not to turn wrenches yourself, you have total freedom. You can mail or hand your Ataclete regulator to any independent scuba service center worldwide. Simply purchase your service kits directly from our store, hand them to your technician of choice, and pay them strictly for their standard bench labor—bypassing retail parts markups entirely.

For heavy-duty operations, tactical training, and extreme environments, we recommend a complete overhaul every 2 years or 200 dives, whichever comes first. We also highly recommend an intermediate visual inspection and intermediate pressure (IP) check annually to ensure your life-support system remains perfectly tuned for top performance.
